Eat breakfast!

I’m not commanding you to do anything!

It’s just a suggestion, start your day with a bowl of muesli, portage oats or some type of oat based cereal.

Oats are a Whole Food, they are packed with good stuff and keep your energy levels up till the afternoon.

You may be used to not eating breakfast, or just drinking a cup of coffee or grabbing a slice of toast on your way out to work, but you’re not doing yourself any favours.

If you don’t eat breakfast your body starts to brake down your own body muscle tissue for energy rather than fat and it turns whatever you put in your body to fat more readily because it thinks you are living in a famine stricken land.

So start to introduce a small oat based breakfast to your morning schedule, you may not like it at first, and you may feel slightly nauseous at the thought of breakfast but after a few days of it you’ll find that you can’t do without it.

Your stress levels will decrease, you mind/brain will work better, your mood will start to stabilise and you’ll have a lot more energy during the day, and it might help you to sleep at night.

If you can’t stand plain oats then add a few sultanas or raisins or some of your favourite breakfast cereal.

If oats make you sick (actually puke) – the try some wholemeal toast

(Obviously if you are diabetic or have IBS or other physical problems that might be affected by changing your diet, please speak to your GP)

You see ONETHINKSPACE isn’t just about powerful ideas, you need to make sure you are properly fuelling your body as well as your mind!
